Map of Biking Trail...We were walking on the bikers' trail guided by our Nature Guide. and 22 of us witnessed how ugly some Singaporean can get. My deeply rooted belief that we must not generalise was absolutely shattered. While listening to the guide about how to protect our nature, one local Biker came charging and shouted at the group " This is a bikers' trail, what are you doing here? How arrogant can one get! He behaved as if his grand father own the whole place! On the other hand, there are many Caucasians bikers and each time we gave way to them, every single one of them shouted " THANK YOU" Are Singaporean badly brought up to believe that they must have everything their way? Again, my belief got shattered again - none of the local bikers even bothered to wave when we stepped aside for them and charged their way through the crowd. It might well be a bikers' trail but here were no sign to indicate people cannot walk on the trail! The Bikers need urgent lesson on simple courtesy! or someday, someone is going to get run over by local bikers!!!
