WHERE SHALL WE WALK NEXT?

Suggestion from Mr Yik Nam Yong:

" Should try the briskwalk @ the Boardwalk (LKY's pet project) at the back of the Changi Golf Club. Can start at the Bedok jetty & back by the main road, ample parking. Other venues are Sungei Buloh, Seletar Camp (before JTC takesover for the aviation hub), can start at the old golf course; across the Seletar runway (Michael can watch out for approaching planes) to the new Seletar golf club & return via Orchid golf club!

This Thursday is a Public Holiday (31 May).

Many have family programmes.

Shall we switch the walk to FRIDAY, 1st June?

Where shall we walk NEXT? Any suggestions?

Our next Brisk Walk will be around the Botanic Garden to ensure that we keep a balance with nature. Tony, our resident Botanic Garden advisor, highly recommends this circuit as he has done it many years.
Please meet at the Botanic Garden Visitors Centre, enter at junction of Cluny Road & Nassim Road. Parking is free for first hour. There are toilets for changing and to buy your water!!

Brisk Walk starts 6:15 pm, coming Thursday 24th May.

The Travel Briskwalkers blazed the F1 circuit tracks on 17 May

welcome and direct traffic. Rain or Shine, Captain Tan leads!

Here comes Veteran Anthong Loh and we were ready to hit

the road armed with the F1 circuit map.

4.8KM walk, all sweaty.

TRAVEL BRISK WALKERS CLUB "WALKED OFF"

Our inaugural brisk walk on 10th May

had such an overwhelming response that even the 2nd PDF

honoured us with full turn out lead by their B.G.

We were obliged to return their courtesy by posing for this picture! Our Captain of the Travel Brisk Walking Club, Michael Tan

carried out his duties with distinction! He was first to arrive

at carpark B to direct traffic. We also helped to direct

ill informed public from parking at the car park lot for the

disabled.

Captain Tan also came prepared with bottled water just in case

there is any dehydration. We completed 4.8km in about 40 minutes.

The walk was even more meaningful when many great business

ideas were conceived. Watch out for the birth of one of these business

ideas soon.

So it's not just walk & talk "C" !
