Lunching with P R Gopal on 11 July

A good turnout of industry veterans to lunch with Mr P R Gopal, NATAS former President during his return to Singapore for a short visit. Seen with Gopal is Caroline Boey...It was great to be there to listen to the hilarious exchanges between Former President of NATAS & Former President of SHA.

The food was excellent but the company was even better....

Two past Presidents of SHA were there, Ricky Goh and Lim Sin Hoa.
NATAS was represented by two past Deputy Presidents - Tan Chee Chye and Robin Yap
From Left; Mohd Rafin, Tan Chee Chye, Peter Choo Charles Leong, David Ho, Asad Shiraz & Darren Ng
Rafin had something to say.........Gopal asked him to seat!

MESSAGE FROM FELLOW BRISKWALKER - STEPHEN CHU

"I am the chairman of the above fund raising committee for NCSS/Community Chest. The NCSS has organized a Heartstrings Walk @ Marina Bay on 18 AUG, inwhich President Nathan will flag off the walk for those doing the 6 Km walk, and then join in a shorter walk of 1 Km himself. This walk, together with other activities that day at Marina Bay, is organized to help us raise funds for the Community Chest. We need to raise $700,000 and are at the moment quite far from our targe"

03 JULY UPDATE

Alamak...6:15pm already....looks like I have to go solo this evening!
But the walk must go on...that's the spirit of Travel Brisk Walkers.

Veteran Tony Loh and Cheong Tack Hoong ensure that I never have to walk alone.
In fact they arrived early and were waiting near Ronald's bench and I was at the McCafe
near the car park entrance.
And Robert caught up with us.....kenna punished again for being late
How often does Ronald get to take picture with Travel Industry Veterans?

All smiling

Robin met Ronald

This is where we meet every Tuesday at 6:15pm
